Our Mission

Closing the Gap Between Discharge and Independence.

Prosperous Robotics believes care can evolve without losing its humanity. We build technology that is thoughtful, purposeful, and grounded in real needs — because recovery deserves more than what the current system offers.

Our Story

Where We Came From

In 2025, destiny brought together three pioneers who had unknowingly spent years building the same thing.

Maja, Michael, and Zen met and discovered their shared mission: restore mobility, restore dignity. LEA and ROSE — different names, same belief. Same purpose. Together they founded Prosperous Robotics.

Michael

USA

I didn’t invent ROSE in a lab. I invented her beside hospital beds, in living rooms, on rural farms — lifting, listening, and helping preserve dignity when the body stopped cooperating.

ROSE is named after his mother — Rose Bankowski, an Air Force nurse who served veterans with compassion for 33 years.

Maja

Europe

I didn’t start with a company. I started with a question: What if people living with serious mobility challenges could walk again?

That question led to LEA — a certified robotic companion, deployed to homes and hospitals across Europe. LEA helped hundreds of people regain not just movement, but confidence and hope. That mission carried through across years and companies to Heroes.

Zen

Asia-Pacific

Mobility is dignity and freedom — when we help someone regain movement, we restore independence, confidence, and a sense of future. This is not just engineering; it’s our responsibility.

Fifteen years building rehabilitation technology across three continents. The same gap, everywhere.

We’re building a future where walking again is just the beginning.”

Because when you believe in yourself again, there are no boundaries.

What We Stand For

Our Values.

Empowerment

Recovery with dignity.

Tools and knowledge that help people lead their own progress — not as patients, but as people who are still capable of far more than the system gives them credit for.

Continuity

Every day, not just appointment days.

Recovery doesn't pause between sessions. Neither do we. Present every day — adapting, guiding, and ensuring no progress is lost in the gaps.

Credibility

Built on science, not hope alone.

Backed by clinical evidence, world-class research partners, and specialist-designed programs. Trust is earned through accuracy — and we take that seriously.

Co-Founders

The People Who Started This.

Not just builders. People who have lived alongside the problem for years — as caregivers, engineers, and operators — and who came together because they were each already halfway there.

Michael is a veteran entrepreneur with deep experience in healthcare technology and government contracting. He holds SDVOSB certification and has led multiple successful technology ventures serving the US Department of Veterans Affairs. The genesis of Prosperous Robotics came from his direct caregiving experience — 10,000+ personal caregiving hours serving veterans with ALS and Parkinson's disease in rural South Dakota, where he first encountered the gap between discharge and the support people actually needed at home. That experience led him to invent ROSE — the Robotic Operating System for the Elderly — earning a US Patent in 2021. He brings the go-to-market strategy, VA channel relationships, and operational leadership that drive Prosperous Robotics' growth across veteran and civilian healthcare systems. Former CEO of Lite Run mobility technology.

This isn't about profits. It's about people. It's about creating a future where no one is left behind — because we believe that empowering someone to walk again is one of the most sacred things you can do.

I believe robotics should exist to empower — not replace — people. Our mission is to enhance human strength and potential, not to overshadow it. At Prosperous Robotics, we build with heart. Every robot we design is created to support people with mobility challenges in reclaiming their independence, confidence, and dignity. When we empower individuals to walk again — physically and emotionally — we enrich not only their lives, but the lives of their families and communities. And together, one step at a time, we move the world forward.
